Life Is What You Mix It Polaroids

My lovely friend and fellow blogger Megan Griffin (yes, that is her real name!) was invited to an exclusive blogger event at the Be At One cocktail bar in Brighton, and she was kind enough to invite me along as her plus one!

Be At One are a chain of cocktail bars in the UK, and the one in Brighton is incredible! Located not 5 minutes walk from the pavilion, it boasts and amazing location AND a killer cocktail menu. I’ve been to Be At One on many a drunken night out before, but this was my first time trying their new cocktail menu, and it really didn’t disappoint!

I’ve been a massive fan of the Brighton Street Diner for the past 4 years or so. Held in Brightelm Gardens, Queens Road from 11am – 3pm every Friday, it’s a great little local street food market where delicious local vendors sell their food.

Plus, it’s only a 5 minute walk from the office for me, so if I’m not saving the pennies and feel like a treat it’s the perfect place to go.

And, that’s exactly what I felt like this Friday. I often bring my own lunch to work but I forgot this week, so I decided I’d wander on down to the street diner and see what took my fancy.

Working in Brighton and living just outside means I have the opportunity to visit a lot of gorgeous cafes.

Today I decided to head to Cafe Coho for lunch. It’s located literally a 2 minute walk from my office on Queens Road, so it couldn’t be any closer really. I don’t usually tend to eat here at lunch time, as I often bring my own lunch to work. However, I often come here to buy a hot chocolate early in the morning (and my 10% local employee discount black card comes in super handy here!)
